Fall Opening Art Exhibits and Reception at AU Museum at Katzen

Details

This has been one of the signature events of The ArtHouse for many years. The featured show this month is Women Artists of the DMV: A Survey Exhibition. American University Museum is proud to serve as the central venue for this groundbreaking survey exhibition taking place across sixteen locations throughout the Greater Washington, DC region. The show brings together leading and emerging voices across all genres of the fine arts.

The ArtHouse is proud to support this show!

We will meet starting at 6 pm. There is usually some nice food they put out, so get there early if you're hungry. There is also a cash bar. We'll socialize from about 6 to 7 pm and then head to the 3rd floor of the museum and work our way down. It's a great night for art and socializing!

Free parking underground there, or you can shuttle or bus from the Tenleytown Metro.

Other exhibits include: From Ancestral Traces to Contemporary Visions – The Art of Méné; Jan Svoboda & Jaroslav Beneš: Lenticular Poetry - Czech photography; Orna Ben-Ami: Displacement and Memory; From Painting to Print: The Poppies, Mimosas, and Lantern Flowers of Donald Sultan; and Fabricated Boundaries: Filipina American Textile & Fiber Artists.
