Hello and we're back with more 'writing for mental health workshops'
Thank you all for your patience while I was travelling and busy with other projects.
I look forward to reopening this sacred space for us to share, write and heal.
We're going to start our first session in this series with word associations where we learn the feeling of words. Understanding how certain words make us feel is imperative to understanding triggers and reframing our thought patterns to calm our nerves, heal trauma and manage anxiety.
Does this really work, you ask? Yes, it absolutely does and I am living proof of that!
We will learn more in our sessions. Each session is an hour long. We will learn something new every week while also honing our writing skills. Every successive session will hold a short recap of previous learnings and each session will end with sharing according to each person's comfort level. Let us come together and support each other through our mental health journeys and make this world a better place, one word at a time.
First session in this series: date: Friday, Aug 29th at 6:00pm for a duration of 1 hour.
Subsequent sessions- every Friday at the same time unless otherwise specified.
Fee: $15 per session. (payable via etransfer- DM me for etransfer details)
Maximum 10 people per session and spots fill up fast so please book your spot as soon as possible.
There are discount options if you pay up front for a month in advance. Please DM me for more details
Location: Virtual. Zoom link will be sent to those who book their spots.
