What we’re about
ATTENTION Professional Fine Artists & Drawing Hobbyists -
Feeling stuck at home? Uninspired? Lonely? Is it hard to make new friends and keep up with your old friends?
This is the place for you - if you enjoy drawing and painting as a hobby or professionally, this is the place to meet other artists online and offline.
We do weekly zoom hangouts - drawing together, watching movies (retro, anime, bad movies) and learn to draw online. Occasionally, we meet in person and draw outside, or at cafes and public spaces. Sometimes play board games or sing karaoke!
Eventually we will no longer be on Meetup (as of May 2026) and migrate to an online platform like Discord.

•OnlineOnline Life Drawing
OnlineThis event is a great way to just relax, draw the human body and work quietly on our craft OR socialize with other artists. Sometimes we can be a bit chatty :)!
We'll start with 1 quick warm up video to loosen up our hand, and then move to 2 - 20mins long pose which will last throughout the event. This is really good for people who want to expand their figure drawing into a more detailed-focused study.

This is a social and friendly group so we kindly ask you to turn on your camera, we're all trying to get past being complete strangers here. If you don't have it turned on after being asked, you will be removed from the session.
Never drawn people before? Or barely any experience with it? Please watch this video before the event so you can have an idea how to approach drawing

•Online📽️ Classic Cartoon Film Night - Titan AE (2000)
OnlineTitan A.E. is a 2000 American animated post-apocalyptic sci-fi action film directed by Don Bluth and Gary Goldman, featuring a star-studded cast - Matt Damon, Bull Pullman, John Leguizamo, Nathan Lane, Janeane Garfalo and Drew Barrymore.
Its title refers to the spacecraft central to the plot with A.E. meaning "After Earth".
The animation of the film combines traditional hand-drawn created animation with the extensive use of CGI.
Story -
The film tells the story of a young man who receives a mission to save humanity and protect the giant ship that can create a new planet, after the hostile alien species have destroyed the planet Earth.
Along the way, he joins up with a ship's crew and their captain, who help him race against time and find the ship, before the aliens can destroy it.
Theatrically released on June 16, 2000, the film received mixed reviews from critics with praise for its visuals and animation but criticism for its characters and story. As usual, with my selections of movies - this was a box office failure, grossing only $36.8 million against a budget of $75–90 million, though it has since become a cult classic.
