About us
One step, one conversation, one laugh at a time — that’s how reinvention begins.
Because let’s be honest — sometimes life doesn’t go the way we planned.
But that doesn’t mean we’re stuck. It means we get to start again, this time with intention.
After divorce, separation, or career loss, it can feel like the rug’s been pulled out from under you.
You’re not broken. You are becoming.
The Midlife Reinvention Community is for growth-minded people navigating big shifts like yours — or simply craving more authentic connection.
***
## 👥 Who’s it for?
Men and women in their 30s, 40s, and 50s — especially those navigating midlife transitions. You don’t have to be social. You just have to be real.
A quick note on connection:
- Women often have more built-in support systems, but they’re not immune to loneliness — especially in seasons of change.
- For men, social isolation is quietly rising. Only 27% in the U.S. say they have six close friends (down from 55% in the ’90s). 15% report having none.
This group exists to shift that. No pressure. No need to impress. Just a place to meet people who get it.
***
## 📍 Based in Northern Virginia
We host relaxed, small-group gatherings — over coffee, on walking trails, around dinner tables, and through seasonal events.
And when food is involved, it’s never just about eating — it’s about the flavors that make you slow down, the conversations that spark ideas you can use, and the shared moments that stay with you long after the plates are cleared. These experiences keep you grounded in the present while giving you space to think forward — helping you picture a future that feels stronger, more focused, and fully yours to build.
Entrepreneurs and action-oriented professionals also find this space helpful — especially those rebuilding their careers or exploring a new direction.
***
## 💬 What about cost?
Some events are more workshop-style — still fun, but designed to help you fast-track your reinvention with more structure and depth. These typically have a small fee.
Other events are lighter and more social, and a great way to get a feel for the experience in a relaxed setting.
You can always check the reviews to get a sense of the energy and what people take away. If an event aligns with what you’re looking for, you’ll feel it.
And if you’re unsure, you can start with a free event and see if this community feels like the right fit for you.

## 🪞 How This Started
This began as a daily YouTube journey on Memorial Day — May 27, 2024 — a personal way to process midlife change, grief, and growth.
What started as one person’s reset has grown into a community that now lives across YouTube, LinkedIn, Meetup events, and even books — a space for people choosing to show up for their next chapter.

👉 Turn Your Lived Experience Into Multiple Books Using AI (Ashburn)
Saturday • May 16 • 2–5 PM • Ashburn, VA
Many people say they want to write a book someday — this session helps you start.
Your life experiences already contain stories, lessons, and insights that could become books. The real challenge is how to organize those experiences and actually turn them into writing.
In this interactive session, I’ll share the approach I’m using to build a multi-book journey based on lived experience.
So far I have:
📚 3 books published on Amazon
📖 1 more books releasing this year (end of the year)
📝 16 additional books planned — and likely many more.
This session is not about writing just one book.
We’ll explore how your experiences can evolve into multiple books over time, and how to use AI the right way to speed up your writing while keeping your voice authentic.
***
### What We’ll Explore
• Turning life experience into book ideas
• How one journey can become multiple books
• Simple ways to structure stories and lessons
• Using AI to organize ideas and speed up writing
• Practical strategies to actually finish a book
Everyone will leave with the outline of their first book idea.
You don’t need writing experience — just curiosity about how your life experiences might turn into ideas worth sharing.

# Background — Writing & Reinvention Journey
Writing has been one of the most powerful tools in my own reinvention journey.
What began as reflections during a difficult life transition gradually evolved into published books and a growing body of work focused on reinvention, personal growth, and life transitions.
My goal is not just to write books — but to help others realize that their experiences may also hold stories worth sharing.
