The crisp Autumn Equinox breath reminds us of the delicate dance between light and dark. It ushers in Libra season encouraging us to return to the beauty of our own balance. To take stock of our harvest and ground ourselves deeply. To nourish from inside in preparation for the quieter, darker half of the year. As summer fades, a kaleidoscope of colors emerges. If we take time to notice, we can see our own splendor reflected in nature.

Come immerse IN YOURSELF while being supported by the rarefied energy present in a secluded spot in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The sacred land offers a spacious lodge, gorgeous hiking paths, refreshing water features, walking labyrinth, circular light meditation chamber, and Geodesic Prayer Dome. Since 1979 tens of thousands of people have come to the Light Center from all over the world to experience this place of prayer and meditation dedicated to individual and global growth.

There is no better time to harvest your past so that the truest colors of your authenticity can reveal themselves.

The dates for this weekend were intentionally selected to align with a potent planetary lineup. Each of us is a sovereign collection of stars and sounds. By understanding how the planets dwell within us, we can direct their energy to create more intentionally within our solar system of body, mind, emotions, and spirit.

Participants will learn the Basics of Evolutionary Astrology including the planets, the signs, and the house system. Birth information (date, time, location) will allow a deep dive into the most personal planets that influence personality, daily life, and emotional responses. A connection with the transit energy of the Equinox, the Partial Solar Eclipse, and the Virgo New Moon will support release, align the body with spirit, and initiation into expanded consciousness.

Using a fun, easy method participants will create Personal 5x8 SoulCollage® Cards to integrate their astrological insights and further access their own wisdom. Found images will be used to help discover and give voice to latent aspects of self including unique inner/outer guides and challengers. This creative process will encourage the peeling away perfectionism while moving toward soul growth in a more intuitive, compassionate way. There will be opportunities to silently reflect and/or share, with a supportive community, any epiphanies or challenges that arise.

Overnight retreat participants will have exclusive after hours access to enjoy A Night at the Dome.

As the sun descends a New Moon Labyrinth Walk will facilitate an individual journey of releasing, receiving, and returning. Afterward participants will gather in the sanctuary of the Geodesic Dome. Experiences will include Calling In Our Brilliance while basking in the rainbow rays of the Light Chamber. The evening will conclude with an epic Star Light Sound Healing Journey including several Gongs, Crystal and Tibetan bowls, plus many other unique mystical instruments. Nestled into the purple glow of the womb-like prayer center participants will receive transmissions that stir vibrational frequencies and awaken stagnant energy. Surrendering to the soundwaves will encourage the subconscious to become more conscious. As the body, mind, and soul begin to heal and restore, illumination and insight follows.

Sunday morning will begin with the option for a Guided Hike to Meditation Rock with Liam, The Light Center Lodgekeeper. Those who prefer may stroll by the pond or ease into the day with quiet reverence. Throughout the weekend participants will be encouraged to follow their own inner guidance and choose what will best support them in each moment--engaging in the planned offerings, exploring the land, creating cards, connecting with one another or simply relaxing. Meals and snacks will be nourishing and plant-based with gluten free options.

Saturday Only Option Available

Locals are invited to join us for the day from 10:00am-6:00ish! The day-only experience includes lunch, snacks, and all activities up until dinner time. If feasible, you are encouraged to stay overnight in order to have a fully immersive experience and enjoy Night at the Dome. The Lodge is reserved Saturday overnight and Sunday morning to host this retreat. We will begin at 10:00am on Saturday and end at 1:00pm on Sunday. The option to extend your stay before/after the retreat is available. Let us know if you are interested in this. The Lodge has eight rooms, each with a private bathroom, and generous communal spaces. Our pricing is set to balance our ability to provide on-going, high quality, soul-enlivening experiences with an accessible price point for anyone who feels called to attend.
