This Singles Golf Group is comprised of mature adults over 50 years old in Western NC and is set up to introduce golfers to the Asheville Chapter of American Singles Golf Association (ASGA). New members of this Meetup can attend up to three events posted on this site and then are expected to decide whether or not to join ASGA. The total of three events also includes those outings posted on the Asheville ASGA website www.asheville.singlesgolf.com.
The American Singles Golf Association is a group of chapters throughout the United States composed of real people play golf and enjoy social activities.
Like most chapters, we hold general membership meetings once each month and play golf as a group in scheduled events (usually on Saturdays). In addition, we get together for a Nine and Dine every Monday starting on the Monday after the Masters. Many social-only events are also held throughout the year. We feel certain that after you participate in one of our events you will become an ASGA member since membership provides many benefits. Not only will you be able to participate in local events, you can sign up for multi-chapter and nationally scheduled events as well at great golf venue locations such as Pinehurst. In addition, ASGA has organized golf trips outside the contentinal U,S. Including, Spain, Ireland, Maui, and Canada.
