Have you ever wonder what is the Hindu temple next to CA-71 located in the City of Chino Hills?

The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Hindu Temple site was selected in Year 2000 and was completed in December 2012.

The entry fee and parking are free. You will have to get there early for parking. We will have to sign-in at the Visitor Center.

We will first do the tour to learn about this beautiful place. Please wear comfortable shoes (I prefer sneakers) since we will be walking. Then we can spend some time walking and take photos after the tour. The only place that we are not allowed to take pictures will be inside the shine.

We will go to the Shayona Café and buy some snacks to take home.

Depends on everyone’s liking, we can have brunch/lunch at the Shayona Café or restaurant at the nearby mall(s). There are Ray’s Duck House, Lucille’s BBQ, The Local Thai Cuisine, The Shoppes at Chino Hills, and many more. We can decide where for brunch/lunch.

Temple’s Dress Code from the BAPS.org website:

Please note that a strict dress code operates within the complex. All clothing must cover shoulders and knees (wraps provided). Specifically, tops must cover the shoulders, chest, navel, and upper arms. Leg-wear must be at least below knee-length.

Please leave all personal belongings and/or backpacks inside your vehicle.
