Women in Design invite everyone who's interested in sustainable design to our December meet-up.
Can designers really make an impact on the environment? Our speakers will tell us about their experience with sustainable design and give us some guidance on what can we change in our everyday work to be more eco-friendly (or at least less harmful).
Lessons from the slow fashion industry
KAMILA BOUDOVA, fashion revolutionary and founder of Sustainable Fashion Day listed in the Forbes 30 under 30 selection of the most talented Czech people under 30 years old.
Kamila is teaching sustainability and product development in several fashion schools and will be sharing some of her lessons with us.
Among other things, Kamila organizes SLOU DAYS Prague. We have a 50% discount with DESIGNFIFTY code 😉
Stories from a sustainable design agency
MICHAELA THOMAS, the owner and director of the design studio Butterfly and Hurricanes, a design leader with over twenty years in the field, a mother of three, a wife, and an activist.
Michaela will share some secrets of working at a design studio whose motto is “Sustainability is profitability and viability” and give us some practical tips we can implement in our work.

Women in Design’s goal is to support female speakers. Please note, everyone is welcome to our meet-ups.
Note: Has it ever happened to you that only half of the registered people came to a meetup? It can be unpleasant for speakers, organizers, and for guests. There are a limited number of places so please be supportive. 🙏
