You don't need to be a baker to enjoy Elvira Bakes, the first aperitivo hosted by As Soup As Possible events. It may help to be a good eater, though!

Join us for the aperitivo buffet, grab your glass of wine and walk around to taste the creations of the home-cooks in the baking contest and cast your vote!

If you are a home-baker, don't be shy! Dare to bring your bake and you could earn one of the three prizes available.
You don't need to have taken your starter from me, neither must you be a pro! The only requirement is to bake with sourdough. Please get in touch to register as a contestant. The participation fee is included!

If you have never tried, you can still get some starter from me before the event or at the event. You can reserve your batch up to March 5th.

We will share experiences, tips and recipes, and enjoy a range of different aperitivo dishes, including sourdough focaccia and plenty of vegetarian options.

RULES:

• If you are willing to participate in the contest, please message me to be listed as a baker.

• Bake whatever you'd like to share: sweet, savoury, filled, fried,... just let your inner-baker free!

• Remember that each guest will be allowed to cast their vote, so make sure to have enough product to allow everyone to have at least a bite.

PRIZES:

• 1st prize - solid wood kneading board (60x40) + dough cutter + organic cotton bag to store your loaves + the book "Food rules" by Michael Pollan.

• 2nd prize - organic cotton bag + the book "Food rules" by Michael Pollan + dough scraper + 2x5EUR discount on your next event (for yourself and a guest).

• 3rd prize - organic cotton bag + the book "Food rules" by Michael Pollan

(the availability of all three prizes is subject to attendance. If we have less than 5 cooks in the contest, only the first prize will be assigned and so on)

What's included:

• extended aperitivo (apericena) with homemade focaccia and much, much more to taste! Vegetarian options abundantly available (that's always the case with As Soup As Possible events)

• the first glass of wine (red or white), sourced from Calabria by Terre Lente (following glasses to be paid to Terre Lente)

• participation fee to the baking contest and the possibility to earn one of the three prizes!

• It comes with a friendly atmosphere and genuine people :)

Program:

• 17:30: arrival contestants

• 18:00 on: door opens, aperitivo and tastings

• 19:00 to 19:30: ballots open

• 20:00: winners announcement and awards
