The Astoria Tech Meetup is a community of local technologists in Astoria.
Having lived here for some time, we know that our neighborhood is full of tech talent, both creative and technical. For that reason, we decided to start organizing the talent for both our and our neighborhood's sake!
Currently, we hold:
- Weekly coffee get-togethers
- A monthly nighttime meetup
- A hack session for community projects
So whether you work in, want to work in, or are just interested in tech, you're welcome to join any of our events!

Astoria Tech Meetup Hackathon
NYC Bagel And Coffee House, 29-10 Broadway, Astoria, NY, USHey fellow Astorians - we hope you are staying warm!
Our next hackathon will be on Sunday, February 1st at noon. Whether you have a new project you're looking to kick off or an existing one you want to continue, all skill levels and areas of expertise are welcome! Come work on cool ideas while meeting new people.
We will host this event at the NYC Bagel & Coffee House near the Broadway NW stop - the same location as our Thursday morning meetups.
In addition to the usual hacking, we may consider running some quick tutorials and workshops during this session to help folks learn about new topics. If there is something you want to explore, let us know in the Discord!

- 12:30 - 4:30pm: Open work time
- 4:30 - 5:00pm: Rapid demos
