Welcome to Astoria Toastmasters!
Are you looking to improve your public speaking, enhance your leadership abilities, or gain confidence in a supportive environment? Astoria Toastmasters provides a friendly and constructive environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds come together to grow and learn.
What to Expect:
Prepared Speeches: Members deliver speeches on topics of their choice, receiving constructive feedback to hone their skills.
Table Topics: Engage in impromptu speaking exercises designed to think on your feet.
Evaluations: Gain insights through evaluations that highlight strengths and areas for improvement.
Leadership Roles: Opportunities to take on meeting roles, enhancing organizational and leadership capabilities.
Whether you're a seasoned speaker or just starting, our club is the perfect place to develop your communication skills in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
Meeting Details:
When: The first and third Thursday of the month from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Our next meeting is on Wednesday, 6/18, due to Thursday, 6/19, being a holiday.
