We host talks, hack nights, show n' tells and community events, all of which are free.
It is one of the oldest and most well established JavaScript meetups in the UK, running continuously since 2010.

From API to Agents
Runway East Brighton, 50 New England Street, Brighton, GBSutton is an ERP for small manufacturers - it manages inventory, tracks orders, and runs production jobs. Over the last 18 months our small team of engineers turned it into something customers can extend from inside the product. Describe an app to an agent, which builds it and pushes it to our platform. It then runs in a sandboxed environment with its own backend and scoped access to the customer's own data.
This talk is about the team's journey from “barely an API” to a full featured vibe-coding platform, and some of the wrong turns along the way
Steve is one of the lead engineers at Sutton (formerly Digit). He's been writing software for most of his life and last gave a talk at Async 12 years ago(!)
