Music and Conversation with Dan Barker
Details
Save the Date! Sunday, January 18, 2:30-4:30 PM, Dan Barker will be in the South Bay as part of his Western US Tour, for an afternoon of irreverent music and conversation. Dan is a former evangelical Christian preacher who left religion in 1984 and has authored, performed and recorded numerous serious and humorous songs about non-religion. He is currently Co-President of the Freedom From Religion Foundation with his wife, Annie Laurie Gaylor, working tirelessly to maintain the separation of church and state and for (non-)religious freedom. Join us for an afternoon of mirth, conversation, and refreshments.
His other California events will be in San Francisco on Saturday, January 17 (contact info@sfbayffrf.org) and Sacramento on Monday, January 19 (MLK Jr. Day) (contact sac@ffrf.org)
This event is co-hosted by the San Francisco Bay Chapter of the FFRF, Atheist Community of San Jose, and the Humanist Community of Silicon Valley.
