Welcome to the Rocky Mountain Atheists!
The mission of the Rocky Mountain Atheists (RMA) is to be a safe and supportive secular community dedicated to serving society; to support those who have been marginalized or traumatized as a result of faith-based beliefs; and to provide and promote evidence-based learning opportunities.
RMA is so much more than a Meetup group! We typically host about 10 events per month, most of them free. Our activities include social gatherings, peer support, community service, and educational activities. We are an inclusive community of atheists, humanists, skeptics and secular freethinkers who welcome people of all backgrounds and identities.
We won't all agree all the time, but disagreement is no excuse for disrespectful behaviour. Disagreements should be resolved in a constructive manner and without personal attacks. Challenge ideas, not people. Do not insult or put down other participants. Harassment and other exclusionary behaviour aren’t acceptable.

Life Without Religion - Online
Location not specified yetLife Without Religion is a peer support group created for individuals who experience difficulty in their lives due to leaving a religion or serious conflicts caused by religious influences. Due to the nature of the group, an interview with the group leader or another representative of the group, is necessary before joining. It is imperative that group membership remain anonymous. An individual is certainly welcome to acknowledge one’s own involvement in this group, but never should they divulge the names or contact information of other members. The group meets twice per month in a private setting. If you are interested in joining this group, please contact Lois at loislwr@gmail.com.

On the left hand side, there is a link for Partners (image of a bunch of people). In the My Teams section, if you aren't yet a part of the RMA team, you can search for Rocky Mountain Atheists and click "Join the Team". Then click "View the Team" next to Rocky Mountain Atheists and scroll down to schedule your appointment. If you do not use this process, you will not have an appointment.
We are donating blood at the new Canadian Blood Services Clinic (100-207 9th Ave SW). Participants need to be at the clinic at 11am. After the donations then we will go for lunch at Bottlescrew Bill's Pub (140 10 Ave SW)

Designated complimentary parking for donors is available at the Calgary Tower parkade, just a 5 minute walk from the donor centre. There are entrances to the parkade on 9th and 10th Ave. Designated donor parking is on the west side on Level 6, near the elevator.
Please ensure you are able to donate prior to registering. Visit blood.ca and take the eligibility quiz.

•OnlineRMA Coffee Chat - ONLINE
OnlineRMA Coffee Chat is an enjoyable, unstructured, afternoon conversation. Anyone can introduce an idea or ask a question and the group will jump in and discuss it. You never know where the conversation will go but it is always interesting and sometimes even educational. Join us and add your two-cents-worth.

Skeptics in the Pub NEW LOCATION - Hudsons Shawnessy
Hudsons Shawnessy, 700-16061 MacLeod Trail SE, Calgary, AB, CASkeptics in the Pub Calgary has been running monthly since 2008! We started presenting monthly topics in 2018, and many members of our community have either presented or suggested great topics. There is plenty of time to mingle and meet other atheists, humanists, skeptics, and overall great people.
NEW LOCATION: Hudsons Shawnessy: 700-16061 Macleod Trail SE**.**
Agenda: we will mix and mingle until about 7:30, then have a 20 minute presentation on a topic of interest, followed by group discussion.
