"Action Quality Assessment with Computer Vision"
Action quality assessment (AQA) is a video understanding subtask which seeks to recognize an activity and to provide a quantitative score for action using computer vision and artificial intelligence. AQA is exciting because it provides not only a deep understanding of a video/activity but also an opportunity to provide performance feedback useful for judging, training, and improvement. This presentation will focus on a multitask AQA framework designed for Olympic diving to automatically generate a score, classification of the dive type, and commentary to explain the scoring.
