Atheists United 35th Anniversary with Aron Ra and Shelley Segal

In September we will be celebrating our 35th Anniversary with a special meeting event at the Visitor Center in Griffith Park! We are very pleased to announce that we will have two special presenters at this event - Aron Ra and Shelley Segal

Aron Ra is a well-known atheist blogger, vlogger, and author. He is the past president of the Atheist Alliance of America, the host of the Ra-Men Podcast, and is running for State Senator in Texas in 2018. Aron will be speaking to us on "What the Bible Ought to Say."

Shelley Segal is an internationally known Australian atheist singer and song writer. She composes secular themes and has produced several albums. She will be entertaining us with her wonderful music.

The Atheists United monthly meeting happens on the 4th Sunday of every month. The entertainment for these meetings ranges from interesting lectures to great live music and even fun parties. Please RSVP so you'll get an update if we announce more details.

Food
Complimentary lunch, drinks, and homemade desserts will be provided to all members after the presentations. We’ll get a chance to meet the presenters and to chat and get to know one another.

Cost
This meeting is open to the public. Non-members pay $5 for entry (and one-day membership), AU members have free entry. To become a member please click on the blue link below.

There is plenty of parking for this special event on the side and behind the Visitor's Center.

Attendance
We're expecting between 80-100 people to attend so you’re sure to have a good time and meet lots of new people.
