Welcome! The purpose of this group is for atheists, agnostics, nonbelievers, and questioning people to get together and have fun, interesting discussions in a nontheist environment. Even though Lansing is our base, the group is open to you wherever you may be.
We usually meet the fourth Saturday of the month from 11 AM-12:30 PM Eastern. The leaders are Anthony O. and Tre G. We are also on Facebook under the same name. We welcome everyone regardless of race, color, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, size, or veteran status. Come join us!

This month, we invite you to discuss rebuilding a life after coming out of religion. How are you doing when it comes rebuilding after experiencing deconversion (if that is what happened to you - we acknowledge that some of us were never religious)? What do you wish you had known when you began to make your first steps away from religion? What tips might you have for others who are working to rebuild a life for themselves?
If you do not wish to share, you are welcome to come and listen.
Order of the Event:
1. The host welcomes everyone.
2. Introductions (you are welcome to introduce yourself verbally, type in the chat, or pass).
3. We discuss the topic.
4. At the end, the group chooses a topic for the next month's meetup.Group Norms:
We mute ourselves when we are not talking, and we use the "raise hand" feature in Zoom when we want to speak. The facilitator calls on people in the order in which he sees them raise their hands.
