Every generation has had a false start in the effort to overcome religious dogma. It seems as if free thinking will have an impact on society but even the most promising outreach has ultimately dissipated. Eddie Tabash will be presenting his blueprint for finally achieving appropriate public recognition.

Eddie Tabash is an American lawyer and political and social activist. An atheist and a proponent of the Establishment Clause, Tabash has debated several world renown religious philosophers, including William Lane Craig, Peter van Inwagen and Richard Swinburne. He is the Chair of the First Amendment Task Force for the Council for Secular Humanism and has written amicus briefs for both the U.S. Supreme Court and the California State Supreme Court.

Tabash graduated magna cum laude from UCLA in 1973 and obtained a law degree from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 1976. His father was an orthodox rabbi from Lithuania and his mother was an Auschwitz survivor from Hungary.
