Rainbow Road: Pride Party

Hi, I'm Athena.

I grew up in NYC, but I never really had the friend group everyone else seemed to find so easily. So instead of waiting for community to happen, I started building it myself.

Rainbow Road is part of that vision.

This isn't just another meetup. It's a community-third space for queer people, allies, creatives, adventurers, introverts, extroverts, and anyone looking for genuine connection in a city that can sometimes feel surprisingly lonely.

✨ RSVP & Approval Process: To help create a safe, welcoming community, all attendees are approved before receiving the event location. It's a quick vibe check—not exclusivity—just a little intention to help everyone feel comfortable.

​Let this be the night to let loose, have fun, and make new friends. let's mingle, drink, smoke, have deep conversations, plan a camping trip and more. i enjoy hosting house parties because i feel there's less social pressure to be our "absolute best," this is a home, with two cute cats, be yourself...we are all here to be friends. we want community. connection. and here you are. here i am. here they are.

​Doors open 7:00pm (If you wanna help set up and arrive earlier, ask Athena)
​Parties always evolve on their own, so if it's late and you're not sure if the party is still going, ask Athena.
​If you RSVP and can't make it, please update your rsvp! Space is limited.

Let me know if you want to bring a friend or two, and please make sure they rsvp as well.

​Activities: mingle, ice breakers, games, mario kart (rainbow road :D), jack box, music, smoke, drink, partyyyy (potential arts stuff depending on number of people here)

​It's a rainbow themed party, dress confident, feel free to wear rainbow and/or your fav color(s)! When you arrive, make sure to take off your shoes, get a name tag, glow sticks and feel free to use face glitter if you want!

​What to Bring-- Let's make a rainbow! Optional, feel free to bring anything. But if you are indecisive like me and/ or want a challenge, then pick a color, get drinks/snacks/food of that color, and bring them here :)
​Think...

• ​m&m, skittles, nerds, smarties, sour patch
• ​weed edibles, joints, flower
• ​party cups (somehow we always seem to run out of them ahha)
• ​soft drinks: Coke, gingerale, orange juice
• ​fruit (so many pretty colors!)
• ​popcorn, chips, chocolate pretzels, etc. . .if anything has nuts/sesame make sure it's clearly written on the package
• ​beer
• ​seltzer
• ​soju, tequila, vodka, rum, gin, wine, soju
• ​Pride themed, rainbow themed, be creative and safe

• ​Allies are welcome, but you must genuinely be respectful of LGBTQ+ people, people of color, mixed-race people, and people from all backgrounds.

• ​Please treat the space with care.
• ​Clean up after yourself.
• ​Be mindful of noise levels when arriving, leaving, or spending time outside.

​Please note: the apartment is a one-floor walk-up and there is no elevator.

• ​The cats live here—you're the guest.
• ​Be gentle and respectful.
• ​Do not feed them human food, pick them up without permission, or disturb them if they're hiding or resting.

​🌿 Substance Safety

• ​If you choose to participate in any substances, please do so responsibly.
• ​Know your limits.
• ​Never pressure anyone to drink, smoke, or take anything.
• ​Consent applies to substances too.
• ​If someone appears unwell, help them find me.

• ​If you do not want to be photographed or recorded, please let me know and i will do my best to accommodate you.
