Abstract
Modern frontend frameworks are more alike than different when we look under the API surface. In this talk, I will compare a number of frameworks from a framework designer/author's perspective - not to decide which one is the best, but to explore what value can be created by distilling framework-agnostic conventions and principles. We will then discuss some examples and the inevitable trade-offs.
