Sat, Jun 13 · 10:00 AM EDT
Join us as we practice making one minute films according to the rules of the Kick the Ladder filmmaking game.
(Rules can be found at https://kicktheladder.com/how-to-play/) This is a great way to learn and practice film
making skills, and meet other filmmakers.
Three days before the meetup, on June 10, I will roll the online randomized prompt dice to determine the
variables to be included in all of the films we will make.
Members signed up by June 10, will receive
the prompts on that day (3 days before the meetup) and are encouraged to write their one minute film concept scripts
(in as much detail as possible and preferably using standard screenplay software). Email me your
completed scripts by Friday, June 12, 10 PM to be included on the list of films to be produced.
On Saturday, June 13, we will film as many of the one minute film scripts as we can. Most, if not all, of the
filming will take place from Saturday, 10 AM - 1 PM, June 13. Additional filming, if needed, will be scheduled
for Sunday, TBD.
All films must be completed and uploaded to Google Drive by 10 PM, June 16, in order to be displayed on
the Film Racers YouTube page, https://www.youtube.com/@FilmRacers-qd7vw
