What we’re about
Women's a capella community chorus. We are a group of women, of all ages, who like to sing. It's not necessary to read music - we assist in learning the music. We sing throughout our community, i.e. arts festivals, seniors dinners, birthday/holiday parties.

Although we rehearse in a church, we are neither religiously nor politically affiliated. We do sing some gospel tunes because they are part of the barbershop heritage, but we do not promote any religion. Believe it or not, today is Buy a Musical Instrument Day! Fortunately for us, we carry around our musical instrument with us every day (how convenient!!!).
On a typical rehearsal evening, we focus on taking care of our musical instruments by doing a proper warmup before jumping into our songs of the week. We have several individuals who guide us through a variety of exercises to prep the vocal chords and work specifics to improve our singing. We sometimes sounds funny (okay, we often sound funny!) but that's okay - we're supposed to!
Bring your musical instrument and join us in Norcross tonight to sing and celebrate our unique artform, BARBERSHOP! We also have a Zoom option available. Make sure you RSVP to our weekly rehearsal events so we can be on the lookout for you. We'll reach out to you through Meetup messages and offer more information.
