MORE INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION

Understanding love is the key to happiness! Love is the great protector. It pacifies any agitation in our mind, and leaves us feeling peaceful and happy. Love helps us feel closer to others, even when we are alone.

Buddha taught that all happiness comes from love—the wish for others’ happiness. Therefore if we ourselves want to find real peace and happiness we must learn to love not just people we are close to but even complete strangers.

Training in the three types of love—affectionate love, cherishing love, and wishing love—naturally leads to happiness, freedom from obstacles, and enlightenment. Developing a warm, stable heart and feeling close to all beings creates lasting peace and fulfills all wishes.

As a special treat, we will be serving a traditional New Year's Day Southern brunch. Bring your friends and family to enjoy a delicious spread of vegetarian offerings.

All sessions are guided by our resident teacher, American Buddhist nun, Kelsang Dechok. Everyone is welcome. No prior experience of meditation is needed.
