Welcome to the Atlanta Polyamory meetup.com group! We are glad that you have chosen to become a member, and look forward to your contributions to our thriving community. Our goals center around education and the building of community understanding and accepting of polyamory. We hope you benefit from this focus.
There are a number of ways we choose to accomplish this. This Meetup group is one way we do so. We have group meetups to socialize and discuss topics important to our group participants and membership.

We also have a discord server for members and interested new members to connect online in real time. Join us on Discord to see what we're all about: http://discord.gg/v6hhfu2

We ask all members to adhere to our Code of Conduct, available at
https://docs.google.com/document/d/14glmlet2UtlX0oU221U9iwvfdYXWcfbkxNKGnvAzyEE/edit?usp=drivesdk
If you feel that someone in the group has not adhered to our Code of Conduct, please contact a board member.

We ask for anonymity of our membership. If you are a member of the media, or representing a group, organization or individual who wants to know more about the organization, its members or founders, to make public the names, locations, or activities of our group we ask that you speak to the leadership directly. If you do these things and do not have permission we reserve the right to remove you from the group and take legal actions as needed to prevent our organization, its members, or founders from being the target of negative, inflammatory, or otherwise harmful portrayal in the public eye.

We offer one disclaimer: Though we are poly friendly folk, we are not a dating service. Please respect that the majority of people here are here to learn and grow in their community. Please be careful to respect the consent of other members of the group.
