Session 2: Business User’s Guide to Migrating to O365 & SharePoint Online

When companies make the decision to move from on-premises to the cloud such as Office 365, it’s typically not an easy transition and takes time and planning. While there’s not a one size fits all migration, there are steps that need to be taken no matter what type of migration your organization is planning. Some companies are moving 100% to Office 365 while others are choosing to go hybrid with having both SharePoint on-premises and SharePoint Online. Regardless, which scenario your organization is planning there are steps that need to be taken to ensure a smoother migration and transition.

In this session, we will discuss:

• Things to consider on the business side when planning to migrate
• Scenarios and lessons learned from real world migrations
• Recommended best practices and approaches to take to prepare your sites and content for a smoother migration
