Intro to Photography - Beginners I class

Details
Is your DSLR a complete mystery? Are you intimidated by the various buttons and controls? Are you not liking the images you capture?
It use to be, you had to learn light exposure to even operate a camera. Sadly in the digital age, people can mostly wing it in Auto mode. This doesn't work well, and some soon realize this.
In this course, participants will learn the principles of basic exposure in the manual mode of your DSLR camera. Learning about the three main exposure controls, Aperture, Shutter and ISO, will allow you to gain the creative control over your images that will make you a stronger photographer.
This particular class will have a strong bent towards people photography and portraiture. Students will be learning how to apply compositional skills to capture the perfect portrait of family and friends. At the end of the course you will be given a large archival quality print of your best image captured during class.
This course will meet on Monday evenings, 7 – 9 p.m., over a period of four weeks. April 6th is simply the first day. So the total class time will be a little over 8 hours total.
