Lighting Portraits with Cheap Hardware Store Lights
For many getting started, buying gear and lights can be a real challenge. They never consider using simple lights from a local hardware store. This a fun and informative class where participants will go over lighting set-ups and modifiers and ideas to do simple portraits. Light is light, and the photons have no idea whether they came from an expensive Profoto or Elinchrom strobe or a cheap little flashlight. The portrait above was done at our last class with lights from Home Depot.
