We organize virtual and in-person gardening events for the autism community in the Atlanta area. Whether you identify as autistic/a person with autism or are a sibling, parent/caregiver, friend, or ally to the autism community, your participation and input are welcome!

About the co-founders:
We are working towards building a community garden with a focus on making it accessible and restorative for the autistic community and their caregivers. We have an adult sibling with autism and enjoy spending time outdoors.

Seed Planting at Piedmont Park Community Garden
Piedmont Park Parking Garage, 1322 Monroe Drive, Atlanta, GA 30306, Atlanta, GA, USJoin us for a morning of gardening at the Piedmont Park Community Garden! This is a shared space for autistic adults, caregivers, and allies to be in community, enjoying gardening together.
We’ll be planting seeds and seedlings in two wheelchair-accessible raised beds. This activity is beginner-friendly.
Accessibility: Fenced garden site with nearby benches.
Restrooms: Accessible public restrooms are a short, paved distance (approx. 3 mins) near the dog parks.
Group size: 5 spots available. To support accessibility and care needs, each RSVP includes space for up to 2 additional guests (family/ care support).
Agenda: Please plan to arrive a few minutes before the start time. Activities will begin promptly at 10:00 am ET. Introductions will take place in the garden.

What to wear and bring with you
- Drinking water
- Recommended clothing: Please wear closed-toe shoes or boots and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Long pants are recommended.
Tools and gloves will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own garden gloves if you prefer.
