See all- Atlanta Streets Alive: Peachtree StreetFox Theatre, Atlanta, GA 30375, Atlanta, GE
UNHOSTED EVENT: MEET AT FOX THEATRE AT 4:00PM!
I have a busy afternoon, so I'm not sure what time I will start, but I plan to start in Midtown and walk towards Downtown. I thought we could all connect at 4:00p right in the middle at North Ave near the Fox Theatre. The route runs from 15th St in Midtown to Alabama St in Downtown.
If you have never been to Atlanta Streets Alive, it is an amazing party in the streets hosted by The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition, and cars are not invited! It’s all about walking, biking, skating, people watching, pet-friendly, get-your-butt-off-the-sofa and go outside awesomeness. Lots to see & shoot, as you won’t find another opportunity to strut down the middle of Peachtree Street without being flattened by a bus or an SUV.
Bring your kids, your canine, your GF, BF, or BFF but most importantly bring your CAMERA and comfortable shoes(!) The route is approx. 3 miles (end-to-end). RAIN or SHINE, more info at atlantastreetsalive.com
Plan ahead and give yourself time to find parking, or just take an Uber, Lyft, scooter, etc. As per always, carpooling and public transportation are suggested/encouraged.
