Classic ATL Sunrise City View from Jackson Street Bridge

In celebration of 10 years of street photography meetups in Atlanta, let’s revisit our city’s most famous view for an early morning SUNRISE shoot.

Sunrise is at 7:58am, so we will get an early start before daybreak and watch the sun light up the city as it glistens in the reflections across the metal and glass of the buildings.

LOCATION DETAILS: Meet on Jackson Street Bridge at 7:00am

RAIN OR SHINE! All ages, levels, cameras welcome.

WHAT TO BRING: If you plan to shoot long exposures, a tripod is recommended. Wide and mid-range zoom lenses are perfect for this location, but bring your favorite gear and have fun.

PARKING & MARTA: Street parking in the area is limited and first come/serve. The nearest MARTA station is King Memorial, which is 0.8 miles (20 minute walk). Uber/Lyft, ride share, carpool, public transportation are all encouraged.
