This is the advanced Power User 103 Bitcoin and Blockchain class with an emphasis on hands on labs. Beginners are welcomed!
Each participant will receive a certificate of completion verifiable on the Bitcoin blockchain.
This meetup will run from 10AM – 3PM and will break for lunch between 11:30 AM and 1 PM. Please note that lunch IS NOT included in class fees.
GOALS:
- Each attendee will setup a hardware wallet to complete labs (test wallets are provided for use in class)
- Setup support for different currencies using a hardware wallet and configure passphrases
- Complete restore procedures on a hardware wallet using recovery seed
- Configure multisig wallets using hardware devices for signing transactions
- Configure an ASIC scrypt miner
- Join a mining pool and fine tune miner
