Bitcoin brings together some old ideas in brilliant new ways. Bitcoin’s blockchain is perhaps it’s best known technical achievement, but how familiar are you with Bitcoin’s built-in scripting language?

In this presentation we’ll discuss how bitcoin really works, how bitcoin transactions are created, how transactions are authenticated, and how Bitcoin’s authentication can solve some of today’s hardest security problems.

Jason Dreyzehner is Head of Design at BitPay. Jason’s interests include Bitcoin, market voluntarism, and the Austrian school of economic thought.
