We have a special treat for you this month! We'll have award winning Java author and Java Champion Venkat Subramaniam, and author & software architecture guru Neal Ford to host a "fireside chat". Come and participate (or just listen) in this discussion, and bring your questions and comments. We'll invite YOU to join them on stage and share your insights with the group!

FOOD WILL BE PROVIDED! Please update your attendance status so we can order the appropriate amount. We'll also do free drinks at the bar next to the venue!

Speakers

Dr Venkat Subramaniam

Dr. Venkat Subramaniam is an award-winning author, founder of Agile Developer, Inc., and an instructional professor at the University of Houston.

He has trained and mentored thousands of software developers in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia, and is a regularly-invited speaker at several international conferences. Venkat helps his clients effectively apply and succeed with agile practices on their software projects.

Venkat is a (co)author of multiple books, including the 2007 Jolt Productivity award winning book Practices of an Agile Developer. Neal Ford

Neal is Director, Software Architect, and Meme Wrangler at ThoughtWorks, a global IT consultancy with an exclusive focus on end-to-end software development and delivery.
Before joining ThoughtWorks, Neal was the Chief Technology Officer at The DSW Group, Ltd., a nationally recognized training and development firm. Neal has a degree in Computer Science from Georgia State University specializing in languages and compilers and a minor in mathematics specializing in statistical analysis.
