A long time ago in a galaxy not too far away...In the early 1990s, a small team of engineers at Sun Microsystems set out to solve a problem.
What followed was more than three decades of remarkable innovation and adaptation: from set-top boxes to the web, from applets to enterprise, through company acquisitions, open source battles, lawsuits, and countless technological revolutions.
Now that journey has been captured in "Write Once. Run Forever: The Java Story," a feature-length documentary told by the people who built Java, maintained it, and grew one of the world's most vibrant developer communities.
