Educator: Xander

Description: Food resiliency means having diverse sources of nutrients so that when one fails, you have options. Mushrooms can be a great source of nutrients and are totally possible to grow at home. Our friend Xander will train us on spores and how to inoculate and care for your own mushroom log, and potentially also how to do this with local strains you find in your backyard! Parking is free at the farm and all are welcome!

✨Accessibility : the farm has uneven ground and can get a little muddy at times, though it’s largely navigable and the mulched pathways are soft. While there’s parking and restrooms onsite and nearby, please reach out with any specific accessibility questions so that we can accommodate as many folks as possible 😌

Come join us in learning!
