Water is the lifeblood of our planet. Throughout history to the present day, wars have been waged over this precious resource. In Georgia, conflicts have arisen with competitors in adjacent states and within our borders. This presentation will focus on surface water issues including the quantity and quality of water in the Chattahoochee-Flint and Savannah Rivers, sewer spills and leaks, and interbasin transfers.
