Is there a Bilingual Advantage?
Speaker: Dr. Brianna Yamasaki
Dr. Yamasaki will discuss the bilingual advantage, or the idea that speaking multiple languages leads to cognitive and academic benefits. We’ll take a look at how these claims hold up under scientific scrutiny and ask: Is being bilingual really a mental superpower, or is the story more complex?
Join Science for Georgia as we support the Wild Minds series from Wild Heaven Brewing and share this thoughtful talk!
*The importance of federal support for scientific research and its benefits for our community will be discussed!
