Workshop: Project & Knowledge Management for Nonprofits
Nairobi Garage, Spring Valley, 3rd Floor, The Promenade, General Mathenge RD, Nairobi, KE
Ready to move beyond scattered spreadsheets, documents, emails, and disconnected tools and bring more intention to how your organization plans work, tracks progress, and manages knowledge?
Join thousands of nonprofits already using Atlassian tools to manage work across grant management, programs, operations, marketing, partnerships, and more.
This hands-on workshop brings together project management with Jira and knowledge management with Confluence in one practical experience designed specifically for nonprofits and social enterprises.

You will see how other nonprofit teams use Jira to structure and track real work, then receive hands-on support to build a project around something your organization is currently working on. The session will cover how to organize workstreams and tasks, clarify ownership, manage workflows, track progress, and establish more reliable ways for your team to deliver on its mission.
Effective project management is only part of the challenge. Important organizational knowledge often lives across Google Docs, spreadsheets, shared drives, email, chat, presentations, and individual team members. You will also explore how Confluence can help bring this knowledge together by creating a shared source of truth where teams can document decisions, organize information, connect existing knowledge sources, and make critical context easier to find and reuse.
The workshop will also introduce how well-organized knowledge can support Atlassian Rovo, helping teams search across organizational information and surface relevant context when it is needed.
Throughout the session, you will have dedicated time to assess how your organization currently manages both work and knowledge, exchange ideas with other local nonprofit and social enterprise teams, and begin creating systems that can continue supporting your organization after the event.
