Details

How do we move from reacting on autopilot to responding with intention?
This session will explore evidence-based practices that help us pause, reflect, and act in alignment with our values. We’ll begin with simple self-regulation and introspection techniques, then explore perception checking as a tool for clarity.

From there, we’ll dive into the OODA loop (Observe, Orient, Decide, Act) which is a powerful decision-making model and wrap up with a practical communication framework to better understand and navigate our interactions with others. Whether you're seeking personal growth or stronger connections, this session offers tools to help you live and lead with purpose.
Nicholai Hoefferle is a dedicated educator and advocate with a
rich and diverse background. He was raised in the predominantly Yupik community of Dillingham and is a proud U.S. Navy veteran. Nicholai holds a Bachelor's degree in English Education with a minor in Dance, reflecting a unique blend of academic and creative passions. A practicing Catholic, Nicholai also spent several years teaching preschool at the Jewish Congregation of Beth Shalom, exemplifying a deep respect for interfaith collaboration.
