“Wisdom of the Resilient Heart” with Lakshmi
Your heart holds profound wisdom — and across every tradition it’s recognized as the primary doorway for transformation.
A resilient heart doesn’t turn away. It can hold great beauty and navigate intense challenge alike. Throughout history,
the deepest teachings on resilience have come through the doorway of suffering itself.
In this session, through somatic inquiry, breathwork,
meditation, and journaling, you’ll tap into the wells
of resilience already within you — deepening intuition,
accessing the aliveness you already carry, and finding
a more spacious relationship with your heart exactly as it is.
You’ll leave with:
- New ways of meeting challenging emotions and numbness
- Embodied relational techniques
- Fresh insights unlocked through self-inquiry
- Practical walking-around practices for everyday life

BIO:
Lakshmi is a somatic coach, embodiment guide, and facilitator of transformation whose teachings help people flow with life,
harness change, and honor the body’s wisdom.
Her path began in 1998 when deep grief over her mother’s death
brought her to yoga — loss has remained one of her greatest teachers.
That journey taught her to meet body, emotions, mind, and energy
with curiosity and kindness, rather than critique.
She was shaped by a multifaith household — a Sri Lankan Hindu mother at home in any house of worship,
an Orthodox Jewish father who found the divine in mathematics.
Nine summers at a Quaker wilderness camp in Virginia instilled
a love of nature and silence that has never left her.
She has been a spiritual ecologist her whole life.
