T. John Nelson is a lifelong Alaskan, born just months
after the 1964 earthquake — an event that shaped his early understanding of what it means to be prepared and self-reliant.
John has been self-employed most of his life and together
with his wife Dawn, co-owns 'All About Herbs',
a health and wellness store in Wasilla.

He has spent over 25 years in the financial services
industry as a financial advisor, and for the past
five years has served as facilitator of the
Last Frontier Food Group, a community gathering
focused on food security in Alaska.

Drawing on both his financial background and his deep roots in Alaska's self-sufficiency culture,
John will join us to speak on Food Security and Self-Sufficiency, sharing the timeless principles he calls the Laws of the Harvest — sowing and reaping, delayed gratification, abundance
and increasing returns — offering practical wisdom for preparing, adapting, and thriving no matter what the future holds.
