About us

This group is dedicated to building awareness and facilitating the journey toward secure attachment through workshops and coaching support, grounded in attachment theory and the different attachment styles.

Our attachment styles form in childhood and subconsciously drive our emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. They affect every area of our lives, including our relationships (with family, friends, romantic partners, and colleagues) as well as our mental and physical health. A secure attachment style acts as a powerful protective buffer — it's linked to lower rates of anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation, greater resilience in the face of distress, and stronger, more lasting relationships, while insecure attachment is associated with higher rates of each.

As advances in technology and AI reshape how we work and live, there's growing recognition that uniquely human skills are what set people apart. Organizations like CASEL point to self-awareness, social awareness, and self-management as essential for navigating an uncertain future. These are exactly the capacities that securely attached people develop: the ability to regulate emotions, build trust, read and respond to others, and stay grounded under pressure. In other words, the skills becoming most valuable in a changing workforce are the ones secure attachment is built to create.

Learning the skills for secure attachment helps us show up as our best selves, both for ourselves and for the people around us. And the good news is that secure attachment can be learned at any age.
