About the Talk
This presentation will walk you through building a practical data engineering portfolio project using AWS. Pula will demonstrate how he created a fully serverless pipeline that:
- Pulls data from the YouTube API using AWS Lambda
- Processes it with AWS Glue
- Stores it in Amazon S3
- Makes it queryable via Athena
- Orchestrates everything on a daily schedule with AWS Step Functions and EventBridge
He’ll also share his approach to identifying impactful portfolio ideas, discuss the architecture and AWS services he used to keep costs low and performance high, and reflect on key (and costly!) lessons learned along the way.
We look forward to seeing you there!
