Two days of full-on Backgammon.

March 28th Standard Swiss Format. Everyone is guaranteed to play 5 – seven-point Matches. The pairings are random in the first Match. Players are not eliminated if they lose the first Match. No Player meets the same opponent twice. Successive rounds match Players with scores as similar to each other as possible. By the 3rd Match Experts are playing Experts, Average are playing Average and Novices are playing Novices.

March 29th Top sixteen (16) Players from the Swiss Format will play Knockout Matches to determine 1st 2nd 3rd places.

Silver Plate Tournament will be played on Sunday for all those who did not make it into the finals but still want to roll the dice. Standard Swiss Format to ensure everyone can play multiple times with multiple Players.

Clocks are MANDATORY.
Baffle Boxes are PERFERED.

Prize: Entry Fee’s will be used to fund the Venue, Prizes & Trophy’s

1st Place: $ 500.00 estimate
2nd Place: $ 400.00 estimate
3rd Place: $ 200.00 estimate

Silver Plate:
1st Place: $ 150.00 estimate
2nd Place: $ 100.00 estimate
3rd Place: $ 50.00 estimate

Trophy’s will be given to 1st / 2nd / 3rd place.

Student’s Trophy will be presented to the student who finishes 1st Place in the Student Pool.
Women’s Trophy will be presented to the woman who finishes 1st Place in the Women's Pool.

Plate will be given to winner of the Silver Plate Tournament.

Doors open at 9:30 AM. Briefing at 9:45 AM. Tournament starts at 10:00 AM.

You do not have to be an Expert to enter the Tournament. You are guaranteed to play at least 5 – seven-point Matches against Players whose skill range is Expert to Novice. It is a lot of fun and a very excellent Backgammon learning experience.
