# Bienvenue au French Meetup! 🇫🇷🤝🇳🇿

A community for anyone who wants to speak more French, meet new people, and connect with French speakers and learners across New Zealand.
We organise two types of events in Auckland:
☕ FREE French Meetups – Relaxed, informal social gatherings where you can meet new people and practise French through natural conversation. Everyone is welcome, from beginners building confidence to fluent speakers.
🗣️ Friday Evening French Speaking Club – PAID – A more structured conversation session for people who want focused speaking practice. The sessions include guided topics and activities, with plenty of opportunities for everyone to participate and speak French.
The Friday Speaking Club has a participation fee. Check the individual event listing for the current price, location and availability.

🥐 Culture & Community – Talk about travel, food, films, music, life in New Zealand and whatever else gets the conversation going.

If you’re a French speaker or enthusiast and would like to organise a local meetup, conversation evening, or other French-language event, we can help you promote it through our community.
It could be in your neighbourhood or district, at a different time, or simply a different style of event. You organise the event, and we can help you connect with people who may be interested.
