Exploring Hunua - Cossey-Massey Loop plus waterfall

Kia Ora Everyone - This Sunday we will be venturing to the Hunua Regional Park for the Cossey-Massey Loop walk with a visit to the waterfall at the end.

● Hike Description & Directions:
We park at the main car park at Hunua Falls Carpark

Duration: About 3.5 hours hike including stops.
Distance: Approx 9 km.
Difficulty: 2.5 on our 1-5 scale for day hikes.
What the Grade means
Cost: $10 for car poolers
Toilets: At the start by carpark
Elevation: 330m

08:45 - Good time to arrive at New World
09:00 - Carpooling organized and leave New World
10:00 - All arrive at Hunua Falls main car park
10:10 - Introductions and start hiking
12:00 - Lunch somewhere around Cossey's Dam
13:30 - Hike finishes at waterfall
14:00 - Post Hike Gathering - Hallertau Clevedon
16.00- Arrive CBD (approx).
