Hi there

Meet and Greet is 10.30 am in the Waterfall Gully Carpark here at the end of Whangaparoa Road .
More details below..
Join us for ...an " Amazing " farmland area guided walk with Stephen....there's a variety of walks and small pockets of native bush...surrounded by the sea and the Hauraki Gulf ...There's a predator proof pest control fence here that keeps all the native birds here protected.. so if we're quiet in certain places today...we'll have the opportunity to see lots ...and hear bird song ..
There's also plenty of farm animals to see here too, sheep and cattle..the odd pheasant and Fantail are often close by in the wooded areas. As well as Tui...so something for all here today on this Nature Discovery Loop Track here at Shakespear Regional Park.
We will stop lots to rest and take pictures and talk about the things we see along the way like trees and plants and birds etc...so please join us for some relaxation today as well..what I refer to as Mindfulness...more details on the Day..
Our lunch break has a white sand beach for anyone interested in safe swimming or sitting under the canopy of mature trees here and chat with a new friend or two.
There's also a Campground here too..by the beach ...under the trees ...People enjoy Night Walking to see and hear our native Kiwi Birds ..and you park your car next to your Tent...and there's cold showers and Toilets...perfect to add to your summer camping experiences in the near future.
Bring along everything you need to keep yourself happy outdoors here today, carrying everything in a small backpack, including your lunch and water, snacks and sunscreen...A sunhat is recommended.
About 3 to 4 hours of easy going... paced walking together today.
No Dogs or Children today Please.
Adult Guests are Welcome if you be sure to explain the details. Get them to bring lunch etc...Thanks.
A reasonable level of walking fitness required for a few short hills throughout the days activities.
