New venue: North Shore Board Games Group

Please note that the long standing venue of Heart of the Bays is undergoing renovation. From December, the temporary venue and day will be St Anne's Hall in Browns Bay on MONDAY nights. The plan is to move to a more long term home in Albany from January.

The games played range from the daft and frantic to the slow and thoughtful, from the 10 minute "filler" up to the 3-4 hour head scratcher depending on your mood. Games are mainly arranged on an adhoc basis and taught on the night so don't worry if you haven't played anything like this before.

If you want to make a pitch about playing something specific or have a question, I try to respond to questions asked here but our main method of organisation is this FaceBook page.

If you've not been before, the right hand entrance to the Service Centre from Glen Road is the one you want and we'll usually be in the large room on the top floor, accessible by lift or stairs. If we're somewhere else (very rare these days) there'll usually be a whiteboard in the foyer saying which room we're in.
