Aussie Founders Club: Helping level up Australia's Start-Up Community

Welcome to the Aussie Founders Club, who run both Melbourne's Tech Start-Up Ecosystem Meet-Up and the FoundHer Space Meet-Up. Our aim is to support and connect entrepreneurs across Australia, with a focus on practical, actionable insights and community building.

A bit about Our First Love: Melbourne's Tech Start-Up Ecosystem Meet-Up

At the heart of everything we do is the Melbourne's Tech Start-Up Ecosystem. It serves as the foundational element of our group, offering:

  • Local and Expanding Meetups: Originating in Melbourne and planning to extend to Sydney, we organise meetups connecting founders, investors, and industry experts.
  • Hybrid Networking: Our community extends online with a Slack channel and a Facebook group, complementing our face-to-face meetups.
  • Targeted Think Tanks and Discussions: We host discussions and think tank sessions focusing on addressing specific challenges faced by entrepreneurs.

Our Passion Project: The FoundHer Space Meet-Up

FoundHer Space started as a meet-up run for fun by the Lead Organiser, Megan, but in 2024, we have bigger aspirations for the group!

This group has been built specifically to connect women entrepreneurs & founders through:

  • Networking and Collaboration: Regular breakfast meetings and an active Slack channel provide platforms for connection and collaboration.
  • Providing Support for Women in Business: The group is a resource for women seeking advice, inspiration, and support as they build and grow their businesses.

The Aussie Founders Club is dedicated to strengthening the tech startup scene in Australia. We believe in the value of connecting people, sharing resources, and supporting each other. Whether through the Melbourne's Tech Start-Up Ecosystem or FoundHer Space, our goal is to nurture a community where entrepreneurs can thrive and succeed.

Join us and be a part of a network that is all about growth, support, and real-world connections in the Australian Start-Up Ecosystem.
