Volunteer at Austin Creative Reuse

Austin Creative Reuse is a non-profit that collects, distributes, and sells reusable, donated arts and crafts materials at discount prices. ACR fosters conservation and sustainability, promotes creativity, and encourages artists and crafts hobbyists to pursue their passions.

Special Session! Help us sort and bundle 1,000 lbs of education supplies that was saved from a condemned school building! We'll be sorting posters, educational games, and more and we need all the help we can get!

Come join us for some fun, low-key volunteering and connecting with other members of your community! You'll help the Education Coordinator prepare re-use materials for all of the educational programs! You might: bundle materials for the Creative Cache, create educational kits, or process supplies. But one thing is for certain; we're gonna have a fun time!

This is an indoor, seated/standing event located at Austin Creative Reuse in Windsor Park. You will be helping out in a warehouse like environment, so it can be a bit warm in the summer, so we suggest you keep this in mind when dressing for the event.

This project is very well suited for all ages, including children as young as 9 years old! Just make sure that any participants under the age of 15 are accompanied by an adult.

Occasionally we go out for food and drink afterwards.
